Young Peoples Service

What will happen

Anyone, especially young people or parents, can contact us to talk about how we may be able to help.

External agencies will need to complete a Drug Use Screening Tool (DUST), to find out more about this please contact the team.

We aim to see young people within a week of receiving a referral.

We will meet the young person, and the referrer, in a place that is safe for everyone.

We will start an assessment to help us find out what sort of help might be needed.

Once the assessment is completed a care plan is started which sets out goals/actions that we will complete.

We meet regularly to complete planned work and review what progress has been made.

We aim to have completed all work within a 3-month period.
