At present you can continue to access support from Harbour during COVID-19. Like many other organisations we are working in a different way, and the majority of our work is currently carried out over the telephone rather than face to face. In line with government advice on social distancing we are unable to run groups at present. If you need to access our service in any way (including the Safer Injecting Service) during COVID-19 please contact our Reception on 01752 434343 (Monday – Friday inclusive) between 9am and 5pm. Inevitably pressure on services during the COVID 19 pandemic will increase, therefore please be patient with us – we will aim to return your call as soon as possible. Harbour can support you with accessing prescribed Opiate Substitute Treatment (such as methadone and Buprenorphine), advice on reducing and coping with withdrawal symptoms and harm reduction information to support you in remaining as safe as possible during the pandemic.
We can get through COVID 19 but we all need to work together. Please remember to wash your hands regularly (or use an alcohol hand gel), observe social distancing measures and follow government guidelines around only leaving home for essentials (such as food and medication), to attend a medical appointment or for exercise.
