Harbour Drugs and Alcohol services are an approved City & Guilds Centre with a team of in-house assessors and internal verifiers. City & Guilds qualifications are recognised by employers around the world and are a valuable tool for demonstrating skills and knowledge in a specialist area.
Harbour is pleased to be able to offer City & Guilds Level 3/4 Qualifications in Working with Substance Misuse. The qualification is flexible to the learner’s needs and competence is assessed using a variety of evidence; observations, witness testimonies and written assignments. The qualification is structured into units with credit values; a qualification is achieved upon a minimum number of credits achieved. Completion and achievement of qualification takes an average of 6 months.

This qualification is work based and the candidate’s skills and knowledge are assessed in the workplace while working directly with clients who misuse substances.
